Women in Literary Arts Australia announces steering committee

The newly formed organisation Women in Literary Arts Australia (WILAA) has announced its steering committee. Joining the organisation’s founder, writer and producer Lefa Singleton Norton, are: writer and academic Eloise Brook; Emerging Writers’ Festival general manager Kate Callingham; Melbourne Writers Festival CEO Lisa Dempster; writer and arts worker Eugenia Flynn; Books+Publishing editor-in-chief Andrea Hanke; writer, editor and spoken word artist Lian Low; journalist and founding editor of Archer Magazine Amy Middleton; author Kirsty Murray; Hardie Grant Egmont commissioning editor Marisa Pintado; and Right Now editor-in-chief Roselina Press. As previously reported by Books+Publishing, WILAA was founded earlier this year to support women working in the literary industry.
