ABC Books acquires rights to Mitchell Johnson autobiography

ABC Books has acquired the rights to Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson’s as-yet-untitled autobiography, to be published in the second half of 2016. ABC Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Australia, announced the acquisition on 18 November, following Johnson’s retirement from Test cricket on the previous day. In a statement ABC Books publishing director Brigitta Doyle said: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Mitchell Johnson to publish his autobiography next year. One of Australia’s all-time greatest sporting heroes, Mitch’s story is one of talent, courage, determination and heart.’ Journalist and author Peter Lalor will collaborate with Johnson on the book.
