Curry, Ferguson appointed to Copyright Agency board

Ventura Press publisher Jane Curry and journalist Adele Ferguson have been appointed to the Copyright Agency’s board. Curry and Ferguson replace Eleanor Curtain and Malcolm Knox as the board’s author-journalist and publisher representatives respectively. Curtain has served on the board since 2012 and Knox since 2006. The Copyright Agency said a record number of candidates submitted for the two positions. The appointments bring the representation of women on the Agency’s 10-member board up to 50%.
