Hardie Grant Egmont congratulates Melbourne author Calanthe Black on winning the 2015 Ampersand Prize

Black’s debut novel, an untitled YA sci-fi thriller, tells the story of a 15-year-old stowaway called Tam who is caught in a war between humanity and a brutal alien race of ‘crowpeople’. It will publish in September 2016.
