Dymocks, Sydney Uni to host ‘Innovation Challenge’

Undergraduate students from the University of Sydney will be challenged to create a ‘future concept’ for the Dymocks business as part of the university’s student leadership program.

The Dymocks Innovation Challenge is the first task in the program. Sixty students from across varying disciplines will form groups to look at new concepts, innovation ideas and technology solutions for the business. Each team will present their solutions to a panel of judges, including Dymocks MD Steve Cox.

Cox said the aim of the challenge is to ‘generate, promote and reward commercial and innovative thinking among undergraduate students at the University’. ‘We are definitely open to any smart or clever ideas that could potentially provide an innovative and improved customer experience at our stores,’ said Cox.

Dymocks has also made a donation to the program.
