Readings to return as MWF festival bookseller

Melbourne independent bookseller Readings will return as the Melbourne Writers Festival’s (MWF) official bookseller in 2016, replacing Dymocks, which has run the festival bookstore for the past few years.

Managing director Mark Rubbo said Readings was ‘so excited to be the bookseller at Melbourne Writers Festival again’. ‘Our connection goes back to its beginning 31 years ago, so it feels like reconnecting with a very old and dear friend,’ said Rubbo.

Readings recently announced plans to open two new bookstores in Melbourne in 2016.

The MWF will run from 26 August to 4 September this year. The full program will be launched in late July.
