Mills & Boon UK partners with Gransnet online community

In the UK, Mills & Boon has announced it will partner with the online network for grandparents Gransnet to ‘provide readers with quizzes, competitions, seasonal round-ups, reciprocal advertising and newsletter content’, reports the Bookseller.

The partnership will see Mills & Boon authors write guest blogs for the Gransnet website, and the two companies will encourage their online communities to discuss issues and topics with each other. Mills & Boon executive publisher Lisa Milton said the aim is to ‘create content and conversations that will bring our audiences together to spark debate and find common ground’.

Gransnet editor Cari Rosen said the company was ‘delighted’ to be partnering with Mills & Boon. ‘Gransnet users are great readers and despite what the media will have you believe, sex and relationships are oft-discussed topics among the over-50s, as our forums prove,’ said Rosen.
