Literary Hub launches review aggregation site Book Marks

US website Literary Hub has launched a new section of its site that aggregates book reviews from over 70 sources, called Book Marks. Pitched by Literary Hub as the ‘Rotten Tomatoes of books’, Book Marks will average consumer reviews from newspapers, magazines and websites into a letter grade, with each review pull quote displayed on the site linking back to its source. Trade reviews are currently not included. Literary Hub editor-in-chief Jonny Diamond said the new site ‘will lead more readers to reviews, and amplify critics’ voices in a way that benefits readers and writers alike’. Morgan Entrekin, co-founder of the site and publisher at Grove Atlantic, said, ‘Book Marks is an important step for Literary Hub as we grow into the definitive online destination for book lovers.’ To visit Book Marks, click here.
