Scribble signs fashion designers Kee and Jackson

Scribe children’s book imprint Scribble has acquired rights to two board books by Australian fashion designers and artists Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson, to be released in mid-2017.

The books will see Kee and Jackson bring the vibrant colours and bold patterns characteristic of their design work to a younger audience. Commenting on the project, Kee said she and Jackson are ‘thrilled to express colour and nature to the babes!’

Scribble commissioning editor Miriam Rosenbloom said the publisher is ‘so excited to bring [Key and Jackson’s] spectacular colour and form’ to a new generation. ‘Jenny and Linda’s beautiful and instantly recognisable work is undergoing a nation-wide renaissance and there’s no reason the kids should miss out on the fun!’

Rosenbloom also hopes the collaboration will ‘lead the way for more exciting projects with artists and designers’.
