Rowling to release new Harry Potter ebooks in September

J K Rowling will release new digital short-form content set in the Harry Potter world in September, reports the Bookseller. A Pottermore spokesperson told the Bookseller that the ‘Pottermore Presents’ ebooks, which will be sold through online retailers, were created for J K Rowling fans who may not necessarily visit the Pottermore website. ‘The Pottermore Presents series … is intended to supplement the Harry Potter book series with short-form content that is entertaining, creatively curated by the Pottermore staff and accessed easily on mobile platforms,’ said the spokesperson. The three titles listed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and the iBookstore retail for US$2.68 (A$3.50) and go on sale on 6 September.
