New children’s and YA publisher launches in NZ

Two New Zealand publishers, Christine Dale and Jenny Nagle, have launched a new independent children’s and YA publisher, OneTree House.

In a statement, Dale and Nagle said they are ‘committed to searching out and fostering the best of New Zealand’s writers and illustrators of children’s books, from pre-school to high school’. ‘Our goal is to produce well-crafted works that are destined to be classics of the future, and promote them to New Zealand and the world,’ said Dale and Nagle.

Nagle was previously marketing director for Hodder & Stoughton in Australia and Dale was publishing manager for Scholastic NZ.
