Four publishers selected for Austrade China-Korea trip

Representatives from four Australian publishers have been selected to participate in the 2017 Austrade China-Korea Publisher Visits program.

The delegation, led by Penguin Random House senior rights manager Nerrilee Weir, includes Maggie Thompson from Allen & Unwin, Kimberley Atkins from Penguin Random House, Annabel Barker from Hardie Grant Egmont and Anna Solding from MidnightSun Publishing.

The program supports Australian publishers, rights managers and literary agents to participate in a delegation to ‘research market opportunities for authors and publishers in China and Korea’. The delegation will meet with publishers, attend market briefings and networking events, and visit bookstores in Beijing and Seoul from 7-14 June 2017.
