RWA releases 2017 conference program ‘Love Gone Wild’

The Romance Writers of Australia (RWA) has released the program for its 2017 conference, to be held in Brisbane from 11-13 August under the theme ‘Love Gone Wild’.

International guests appearing at the conference include Cassie Hanjian, literary agent at US agency Waxman Leavell, and Carrie Feron, executive editor and senior vice president at US publisher William Morrow/Avon.

Keynotes will be delivered by local authors Marion Lennox, who has written over 100 books for Mills & Boon, and Kate Forsyth, who will also present a full-day workshop for emerging and established writers.

Other highlights include panels on the state of publishing and on what publishing professionals are looking to acquire; a fancy dress cocktail party under the theme ‘Bring out the animal in you’; and a gala awards dinner, which features the presentation of the Ruby awards.
