The Lifted Brow launches imprint Brow Books

The Lifted Brow (TLB) has announced its new books imprint, Brow Books.

In a statement on its website, the imprint said it will publish ‘across a variety of genres, styles and formats’ and will aim to ‘focus on working with authors from the margins: people who live and write from demographic margins, and/or writers whose work sits in the literary margins’.

TLB’s current print books—The Island Will Sink (Briohny Doyle) and The Town (Shaun Prescott)—will be included under the imprint. The publisher’s forthcoming titles include The Best of the Brow: Volume Two; a collection of Benjamin Law and his mother Jenny Phang’s relationship advice columns, Law School; and Jamie Marina Lau’s debut novel Pink Mountain on Locust Island.

The Lifted Brow also announced it will change its name to TLB, although the print magazine will continue to go by The Lifted Brow.
