‘SRB’ announces recipients of Emerging Critics fellowships

The ‘Sydney Review of Books’ has announced the recipients of this year’s Copyright Agency-SRB Emerging Critics fellowships.
The recipients are:
- Rita Horanyi (SA)
- Darius Sepehri (NSW)
- Robert Wood (WA).
Each of the recipients receives $3000. Their essays will be published on the SRB website in late 2017 and early 2018.
The judging panel, comprising Shannon Burns, Michelle Cahill and Ben Etherington, said ‘the nine pitches made by the three winners will take the SRB into new areas, introducing critics with distinctive styles, tastes, and critical philosophies’.
The recipients were chosen from a shortlist announced earlier this month.
