Google adds library ebook catalogues to search results

In the US, Google has added local library ebook catalogues to its search results, reports the Verge.
Previously, users needed to log on to a local library’s online system to search for ebooks or use a third-party website that could search multiple library catalogues at once.
Users need to apply their location when conducting a search. The results are listed under a ‘Borrow ebook’ tab, which takes users to the library log-in page.
The new feature is being rolled out across the country, and is accessible on mobile and desktop.
