Echo acquires midlife dating guide

Bonnier Publishing’s Echo imprint has acquired world rights to Kerri Sackville’s Out There: A Survival for Guide for Dating in Midlife via Pippa Masson at Curtis Brown Australia.

Out There is a dating guide book ‘peppered with big-hearted humour and no-holds-barred anecdotes’ from Sackville’s personal dating experiences. According to the publisher ‘the practical advice is warmly and wisely dispensed, with just the right tone to make any reader unfamiliar with breadcrumbing, ghosting and zombie dates feel enlightened and suitably armed to enter the world of online dating’.

The book was acquired by Echo publishing director Kay Scarlett, who described it as ‘one of the funniest manuscripts I’ve read for a long time’ but also ‘packed with practical advice and wisdom’.

Out There will be published in April 2018.
