Funded by the National Union of Workers, the Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance and the National Tertiary Education Union in Victoria, the Fair Australia Prize comprises four $5000 prizes for works of fiction, essays, poetry, and cartoons and illustrations. The prize asks writers and artists to engage with the topics ‘what does a fair Australia look like, and how do we get there?’ and ‘imagine a new political agenda for Australia’.

Winners will be announced in late November.
