New Victorian commissions program for ‘ambitious, ground-breaking projects’

The Victorian state government is calling for applications for ‘ambitious, ground-breaking projects’, which could receive up to $1m in funding, as part of a new Creative Victoria program seeking to commission works beyond the capacity of existing Creative Victoria programs.

Between five and ten applicants will receive up to $20,000 to develop their concepts and complete a feasibility study on their proposal, and one to three projects will receive between $300,000 and $1m to fund their projects.

The program seeks applications for ‘ambitious projects that break new ground, generate widespread community engagement, attract tourism and have the potential to create a lasting legacy in Victoria’.

Applications close 8 February. For more information, click here.
