Sales

Fiction—Allen & Unwin has sold Bulgarian rights to The Eye of the Sheep (Sofie Laguna) to Ednorog Publishers.

Nonfiction—Allen & Unwin has sold German and Czech rights to Buddhism for Pet Lovers (David Michie) to Irisiana Verlag and Synergie, respectively; and French rights to Working with Involuntary Clients (Chris Trotter) to Editions Dalloz.

Children’s—Scholastic Australia has sold US rights to Twig (Aura Parker); US rights to Pig the Star (Aaron Blabey); US rights to four books from ‘The Mysterious World of Cosentino’ series (Cosentino & Jack Heath, illus by James Hart); Spanish rights to Tiny Timmy: Soccer Superstar and Tiny Timmy Makes the Grade (Tim Cahill, illus by Heath McKenzie); Portuguese rights to The Bad Guys: Episodes 1-4 (Aaron Blabey); and Dutch rights to Ella Diaries: Worst Camp Ever (Meredith Costain & Danielle McDonald).

Acquisitions

Fiction—HarperCollins has acquired world rights to The Girl on the Page (John Purcell, see news).

Nonfiction—Hardie Grant has acquired world rights to The Best of World Cruising (Catriona Rowntree, see news).
