ANZ authors nominated for 2018 RITA Awards

Several Australian and New Zealand authors have been nominated for the Romance Writers of America (RWA) 2018 RITA Awards for excellence in published romance novels and novellas.

Avril Tremayne is a finalist in the Contemporary Romance: Long category for The Dating Game (HarperCollins), while Marion Lennox is a finalist in the Contemporary Romance: Short category for The Billionaire’s Christmas Baby (Harlequin). Amy Andrews has two nominations in the Contemporary Romance: Short category for A Christmas Miracle (Harlequin Mills & Boon) and Troy (American Extreme Bullrider Tour #5) (Tule Publishing).

New Zealand writer Kara Isaac, who was also nominated last year, is a finalist in the Romance with Religious or Spiritual Elements category for her self-published title Then There Was You, and fellow New Zealander Brynn Kelly was nominated in the Romance Novella category for Forbidden River (Harlequin).

The nominations for the RWA Golden Heart awards, which recognise excellence in unpublished manuscripts, were also announced. The winners will be announced on 19 July at the 2018 RWA Conference in Denver, Colorado.
