A&U to publish Winx book

Allen & Unwin will publish a book about world number one racehorse Winx in late October 2018.

Gold Walkley winner Andrew Rule will author the official biography, Winx: Greatest of All Racehorses, in collaboration with the horse’s trainer Chris Waller and owners Debbie Kepitis, Richard Treweeke and Peter and Patty Tighe.

‘Until now, no one has had full access to the people who know her best. Only her owners, her breeder, her trainer and her rider can tell the real story behind Australia’s greatest racehorse,’ said Rule in a statement.

Winx has officially rated as the top ranking racehorse in the world last week.

Trainer Waller said he is ‘proud and humbled’ to work with Rule and A&U.

The book will be released on 29 October 2018.
