PRH acquires Warne memoir

Penguin Random House will publish Australian cricketer Shane Warne’s memoir, No Spin (with Mark Nicholas), in Australia and the UK in October 2018.

In a statement, the publisher said the memoir will cover the bowler’s ‘extraordinary cricketing career and his life off the pitch’. ‘No Spin is the true story behind the headlines, in Warne’s own voice, and challenges some of the enduring myths and untruths that surround him,’ said the publisher.

Penguin Random House Publisher Alison Urquhart said of the acquisition, ‘We are so thrilled to be working with Shane on his long awaited, warts-and-all autobiography’. ‘This is going to be one of the biggest autobiographies in a very long time,’ she added.

No Spin will be published in hardback by Ebury in Australia and the UK on 1 October.
