The Mudgee Readers’ Festival has released its 2018 program.

The annual event will run from 10-12 August in regional NSW and, for the first time, the festival will also hold a kids program, known as Mudgee Young Readers’ Festival, on Thursday, 9 August.

Authors in attendance include Caroline Overington, Ryan O’Neill, Jessie Cole, Kate Wild, James Colley, Jane Rawson and Andrew P Street, among others, while the kids program will feature authors such as R A Spratt and Matt Stanton.

This year’s program includes morning yoga sessions, a flash fiction event hosted by publisher Seizure,  bibliotherapy sessions with reading specialist Jenn Martin, and an event with local sommelier James Horsfall, where participants are encouraged to match local wines with books.
