ASA: Self-publishing workshop

Australian Society of Authors is running a two-day, in-depth workshop that will cast light on the myths and realities of self-publishing in 2018 and increase publishing success

This workshop offers: an understanding of the entire publishing, sales, marketing and distribution process; resource pack to publish safely; list of contacts for advice; opportunity for feedback; tutorial on creating an ebook; advice on creating a public profile and developing speaking skills; feedback from authors; networking marketplace; and confidence to publish.

Resources include: costing template; tips and tricks; completed title budget ; information on a US Tax File number; draft publicity campaign; targeted press release; and familiarity with metadata, keywords and SEO.
