Whelan appointed assistant editor at Affirm

Meg Whelan has been appointed in the newly created role of assistant editor (kids) at Affirm Press. Whelan joined the kids team in a contract position to assist senior editor Davina Bell while commissioning editor Clair Hume was on parental leave. Hume will return to work on 6 August and Whelan will continue as assistant editor (kids), and continues to work part-time as a kids buyer at Hill of Content Bookshop.
