2018 First Nations Australia Writers Network (FNAWN) National Workshop
The FNAWN National Workshop for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander writers is a peer-to-peer professional development event. The workshop theme is ‘Sovereign People: Sovereign Stories’.
Presenters include Kim Scott, Melissa Lucashenko, Jackie Huggins, Jim Everett, Ellen van Neerven, Dub Leffler and Luke Pearson.
The 2018 program will again be hosting the Literary Sector and Publishing Industry Roundtable for invited guests.

A highlight of the program, presented in partnership with the Canberra Writers Festival, will be An evening with First Nations Australia Writers on Saturday 25 August (6pm to 8pm) at the National Library of Australia.
Join First Nations authors and poets as they read works in response to the 2018 NAIDOC theme Because of her we can and explore the idea of Sovereign People: Sovereign Stories.
