Chronicle launches Chinese-language children’s books imprint

US publisher Chronicle Books has launched an imprint for Chinese-language editions of its children’s titles, reports Publishers Weekly.

Chronicle Books is partnering with international investment firm Trustbridge Global Media to launch the imprint, called Chronicle Bridge, which will publish and distribute Chinese-language editions of selected Chronicle children’s titles in China.

The imprint will debut with five Chinese-language titles this August, including Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site and Steam Train, Dream Train, and will publish a total of 20 titles this year.

Chronicle Bridge will be formally launched at the Beijing International Book Fair, which opens on 22 August.
