Pages and Pages opens dedicated event space

Pages and Pages Booksellers, situated on Sydney’s North Shore in the suburb of Mosman, has announced it is opening a new dedicated event space.

Following the consolidation of Pages and Pages’ children’s bookshop into the main bookshop last year, the former children’s shop has now been converted into a 50-seat capacity event space for hosting author talks, book launches, book clubs and workshops.

The shop will be launching a new event program in October, and will continue hosting evening talks at Mosman Library and events at The Bather’s Pavilion restaurant at Balmoral Beach. The space is available to hire for book launches, and is looking to host book-related events including school holiday activity days and writing workshops.

Owner Jon Page said: ‘The new event space gives us more flexibility when it comes to hosting author events. We can now choose a time and event size that suits everyone. It also lets us be a bit more creative with how we host events which is very exciting. We are looking forward to helping our amazing community of readers share their passion for books with access to authors on an intimate level.’

The new event space will be launched by children’s author Jacqueline Harvey on 27 October. For more information, visit the Pages and Pages website.
