PRH, Text, Matilda Bookshop and Farrell’s Bookshop awarded at Leading Edge Books Conference

A number of industry awards were presented at this year’s Leading Edge Books Conference in Adelaide on 18 March.

Penguin Random House was named Publisher of the Year, while Text Publishing was named the Small Publisher of the Year. It’s the second year in a row the publishers won their respective categories.

Matilda Bookshop in the Adelaide Hills was named Metro Bookstore of the Year, and Farrell’s Bookshop in Mornington, Victoria won Regional Bookstore of the Year.

The awards were presented at the Adelaide Town Hall, which included the announcement of the 2019 Indie Book Awards and a performance by singer-songwriter Archie Roach.
