‘Storm Boy’ tops Australian YA bestsellers chart

A film adaptation of Colin Thiele’s classic children’s book Storm Boy—about a boy who rescues three pelican chicks after their mother is shot—has sent the title to the top of the Australian YA bestsellers chart for March. The movie was released in Australia earlier this year and is currently screening in the US. It is joined in the top three by Vardaesia, the fifth and final book in Lynette Noni’s bestselling ‘Medoran Chronicles’ series, and Astrid Scholte’s debut fantasy Four Dead Queens.
