St Martin’s Press acquires North American, audio rights to ‘Cilka’s Journey’

St Martin’s Press has acquired North American and audio rights to Cilka’s Journey, the sequel to Heather Morris’ bestseller The Tattooist of Auschwitz (Echo).

Publishers Weekly reports that St Martin’s chair Sally Richardson and publisher Jennifer Enderlin acquired the rights from Kate Parkin at Bonnier in the UK.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, Cilka’s Journey will be published simultaneously in Australia by Echo and in the UK by Zaffre in October. The novel follows the story of one of the key characters from The Tattooist of Auschwitz, teenager Cilka Klein, who saved tattooist Lale Sokolov’s life.
