Editors Victoria: Editing Diverse Voices seminar

Editors Victoria is running a seminar on editing diverse voices in October.

The seminar will explain the best editorial practice for inclusivity and diversity, how we can transcend our biases (conscious and unconscious) and avoid projecting our own values and experiences onto the text, and what changes must we make to satisfy an increasingly diverse audience.

This half-day event will give editors, writers and publishing professionals practical skills for working with material from outside their own experience. Hear from presenters Bridget Caldwell, Carly Findlay and Kirstie Innes-Will, and moderator Marisa Wikramanayake. Book by 30 August 2019 to secure the early bird rate.
