IBBY Australia names Atkins, Kennedy for 2020 Honour List

IBBY Australia has selected writer Clare Atkins and illustrator Lisa Kennedy for the 2020 International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) Honour List.

Atkins was selected for the writing category for Between Us (Black Inc.) and Kennedy for her illustrations for Wilam: A Birrarung story (Aunty Joy Murphy & Andrew Kelly, Walker).

The IBBY Honour Book List is compiled biennially by the international sections of IBBY, with each country selecting books published in the previous two years.

The 2020 list will be displayed at the IBBY Congress in Moscow, the Bologna Book Fair and other international events.
