Three Sara Foster novels sold to US in six-figure deal

Tara Wynne at Curtis Brown Australia has sold North American rights to three novels by Perth-based author Sara Foster to Blackstone Publishing in a six-figure deal.

Blackstone Publishing acquired rights to Foster’s forthcoming psychological thriller You Don’t Know Me (S&S, November), her next as yet untitled work and her 2017 novel The Hidden Hours (S&S).

‘Blackstone Publishing is thrilled to be bringing Sara Foster’s books to an expanded audience,’ said vice president of sales Anne Fonteneau. ‘Psychological suspense continues to be a favourite for readers in North America, and Sara is an outstanding voice in the genre.’

You Don’t Know Me will be published in North America in March 2020, with the other titles to follow in 2021 and 2022.

Wynne also sold UK and Commonwealth rights (ex ANZ and Canada) to You Don’t Know Me and The Hidden Hours to commissioning editor Lauren Parsons at Legend Press in the UK. The Hidden Hours is currently under option with Australian independent production company CJZ.
