VIDA Count 2018 results released

In the US, the results of the 2018 VIDA Count, which analyses gender representation in literary magazines, have been released.

Out of the 15 literary publications included in the main count, only Tin HouseGranta and the Boston Review published 50% or more women writers, while Poetry magazine fell just below gender parity but included the most non-binary writers, with 9.6%.

The New York Review of Books published the least amount of women with 27.1%, which is the highest recorded proportion for the publication since the beginning of the VIDA count in 2010.
