Editors Victoria: Working Grammar course

Editors Victoria is running a one-day grammar course, taught by Glenys Osborne.

Do you know what to do when you are writing and copyediting, but not why you do it? Do you know what the problem is when you see it, but not what to call it? Do you want to be more articulate—with yourself and others—about your editorial decisions?

Working Grammar centralises the nine parts of speech so as to explore the main difficulties each presents for writers and editors. The course aims to give participants a basic framework for thinking about and understanding the kinds of grammatical decisions they make when writing and copyediting.
