Rawson shortlisted for UK’s Kitschies awards for spec fic

Jane Rawson’s novel From the Wreck (Transit Lounge) has been shortlisted in the UK’s Kitschies awards, presented to ‘progressive, intelligent, and entertaining literature with a speculative element’.

From the Wreck is one of five titles shortlisted for the Red Tentacle for best novel. The winner will receive £1000 (A$1980) and a hand-crafted tentacle trophy.

Shortlists were also announced for the Golden Tentacle for a debut work and the Inky Tentacle for cover art.

Picador UK acquired world English-language rights (ex-ANZ) to From the Wreck from Transit Lounge in 2018.
