Black Inc. postpones ‘Growing Up Disabled in Australia’

Black Inc. has postponed the publication of Growing Up Disabled in Australia (ed by Carly Findlay) from June this year until February 2021, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the publisher, the delayed release is to ‘ensure everyone can celebrate and share their stories in a safe and accessible way’.

Black Inc. said: ‘The current crisis highlights more than ever the need for disabled writers and artists to share their work and Black Inc. can’t wait to share this anthology with the world.’

Author and appearance activist Findlay was announced as the editor of the anthology in December.
