FutureBook Conference to run as virtual event

This year’s FutureBook Conference, run by the UK’s Bookseller, will run as a virtual event from 16–20 November.

The program includes more than 40 sessions and 100 speakers, including the CEOs of all major UK trade publishers; the CEOs of Storytel, Deezer and Danish publisher Gyldendal; and Andy Hunter and Nicole Vanderbilt, founder and UK managing director of Bookshop.org respectively.

The conference will include events covering audiobooks, what the post–Covid-19 office will look like, subscription platforms, online retailing and online buying patterns, and how to make online events work, as well as the FutureBook Best of Lockdown awards.
