PRH acquires Crabb and Sales ‘Chat 10 Looks 3’ book

Penguin Random House Australia (PRH) has acquired world rights to Well Hello by Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales.

In the book, journalists Crabb and Sales, who started their popular podcast Chat 10 Looks 3 in 2014, will take ‘a stroll through some of the issues of our time, offering advice for would-be writers, thoughts on developing a rich reading life, tips for navigating the perilous world of social media, and the secrets of a great friendship, all with the digressions that listeners of their podcast have come to love’, said PRH in a statement.

‘Here Crabb and Sales discuss kindness, success and failure, and not taking yourself—or others—too seriously, with a liberal sprinkling of fairy wrens, granny pants, show tunes, creative insults, diabolical mum bags and CLANGS.

‘Whether you’re a devoted listener of Chat 10 Looks 3, curious as to what all the fuss is about, or simply looking to cry-laugh on public transport, Well Hello is the book for you.’

Crabb’s and Sales’s respective works of nonfiction Any Ordinary Day and The Wife Drought were published by PRH in 2018 and 2015.

‘As a long-time fan of the Chat 10 Looks 3 podcast, I couldn’t be happier to be publishing Well Hello,’ said PRH publisher Nikki Christer. ‘In my opinion, Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales are national treasures whose conversations should be enshrined in a podcasters’ Hall of Fame—or failing that in a book. So I’m delighted that, on September 28, Penguin Random House will be publishing that book.’

Well Hello will be released in September 2021.
