Cuthbert joins Pantera

Pantera Press has appointed Kate Cuthbert to the newly created position of editorial director, for a 14-month contract role while managing editor Lucy Bell is on parental leave.

Previously managing editor at Escape Publishing and most recently program manager at Writers Victoria, Cuthbert said she has ‘long admired Pantera’s vision for publishing’, and is ‘very much looking forward to joining the Pantera Press team’.

‘We’ve admired Kate’s passion and contribution to the industry over many years and are excited about what she can bring to our team in terms of leadership as well as strategy and support for our publishers and editors as we continue to grow,’ said Pantera CEO Alison Green.

Cuthbert starts in the role on 19 January 2022; Bell is on leave from 31 January 2022.
