Australian Book Design Awards 2022 longlists announced

The longlists for the 2022 Australian Book Design Awards, presented by the Australian Book Designers Association (ABDA), have been announced.

In their 70th year, the awards celebrate the ‘best and brightest, most original and beautiful designs of the past year’. The judges considered 497 books across 20 categories including best designed series (including classics), children’s illustrated nonfiction, fully illustrated book over $50/under $50, and three student design categories.

The shortlists will be announced in early April with the winners to be announced in June. For the complete longlist in all categories, see the ABDA website.
