ASA Award Mentorship Program for Writers and Illustrators winners announced

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) has announced the winners of its 2022 Award Mentorship Program for Writers and Illustrators.

With support from the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund, each winner receives a 20-hour mentorship with an experienced writer, editor or illustrator, as well as a one-year ASA membership, a free ticket to its Literary Speed Dating event and access to its Pathways to Publishing Program.

The four highly commended applicants receive four hours of mentoring on the first 10 pages of their project, as well as access to the Pathways to Publishing Program.

The winning and highly commended authors and illustrators are:

  • Cassy Polimeni
  • Charlotte Barkla (highly commended)

Young adult

Picture book illustration
