Ventris to depart LBF

In the UK, director of the London Book Fair (LBF) Andy Ventris is expected to leave his role in the European summer, reports the Bookseller.
Ventris, who was appointed in late 2020, will reportedly be leaving Reed Exhibitions, which runs the fair and for whom Ventris previously worked in the luxury travel sector of marketing and events. The Bookseller reports he is leaving to ‘take on a new challenges’.
Due to the pandemic, the recent 2022 iteration of fair was the only in-person LBF event during Ventris’s directorship.
In 2023 LBF will run from 18 to 20 April.
