Booktopia has an exciting opportunity in our merchandise team based at Rhodes for an experienced category manager specialising in books.

As a category manager you play a crucial role in the success of your category. This role requires exceptional knowledge in books. You will be energetic, curious, willing to learn and able to juggle a huge list of tasks and initiatives to drive the Booktopia business further. You will be highly motivated, coupled with a strategic and commercial mindset with exceptional knowledge of the needs of all aspects of Books.

This is an ideal role for someone who has a good understanding of various book categories with strong relationship building and teamwork skills. Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques will also be advantageous. Together with a strategic mindset and the ability to think beyond day-to-day tactical implementation.
