NT Literary Awards 2022 winners announced

The winners of the 2022 Northern Territory Literary Awards, which celebrate the unpublished work of established and emerging NT writers, have been announced.
Winners in seven categories were announced, including:
Short story ($1000)
- ‘Into the Storm’ by A’Mhara McKey
Poetry ($1000)
- ‘Velocipede’ by Dave Clarke
Creative nonfiction ($500)
- ‘A World on the Wane’ by Naish Gawen.
The winners, chosen from shortlists announced last month, were revealed at a ceremony at the NT Library in Darwin on Wednesday, 14 September. A full list of winners can be found on the ANZ LitLovers blog.
The winning and shortlisted works will be published in a book produced by the NT Writers Centre.
