Phoenix International is seeking an experienced and accomplished sales director, to help grow our Asia Pacific business. This is a fantastic role in a dynamic organisation, with the opportunity for an evolving career path for the right candidate.

We are an international publisher of licensed and novelty Children’s Books, representing Disney, Nickelodeon, Mattel, Hit Entertainment and others.

Phoenix is looking to grow and develop new sales channels, requiring an additional resource to manage key markets in Australasia and throughout Asia.

The sales director will have a proven track record in sales within the publishing industry, and familiarity with a range of retail channels including variety stores, department stores, bookstore chains, independents and online retailers. Knowledge of licensed publishing would be an advantage, as would experience in Asian markets.

Reporting to the general manager, the sales director will have responsibility for the overall management of Australasian customers, including development and implementation of sales strategies, achievement of annual sales budgets, and the ability to grow and maintain good relationships. This role requires a keen understanding of the importance of brand management and the ability to work closely with our licensing partners. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic marketplace are essential.
