Gina Rushton’s The Most Important Job in the World (Macmillan) is a remarkable book (and I’m not just saying this because she was one of the brilliant journalists who I worked with at BuzzFeed News).
It’s an extremely heartfelt and thoughtful book that explores the question of whether or not to become a parent and all of the complications that accompany that thought. It’s a book that not only serves the people currently trying to answer this question but also people who have already become parents, as well as partners. It’s got a huge amount to say about the anxieties that we all face when thinking about our futures and I cried more than once reading it.
