At Hachette Australia, we’re seeking an early to mid-career Editor to work on our acclaimed book publishing program. This role is for you if you’re looking to demonstrate and expand your editorial skills in a busy and dynamic environment. As Editor, you’ll be a permanent, full-time member of the editorial team within our Australian Publishing Division and will report to the Deputy Managing Editor. You’ll thrive on building strong, collaborative relationships with authors and illustrators and project-editing fiction, non-fiction and children’s titles, producing books to the highest standard, on time and within budget.

The salary will be in line with the role of ‘Editor’ in the Book Industry Award 2020, with the precise grading dependent on experience, plus superannuation.
